What We Do . . .
The Ecumenical Senior Center is an activity center that provides a wide range of programs and services to individuals living in the city of Kalamazoo and surrounding areas. The center is open to anyone 60 years and up. Membership is free and everyone is welcome to join us. There is a minimal subsidized fee for some activities such as our senior trips.
Our goal is to offer a place where seniors can come and spend quality time with their peers and participate in a wide range of activities. Our center is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Our seniors are vibrant members of the community and every day they remind us of the importance of celebrating the gifts that our seniors bring to our every day lives.
At the center, our guests participate in activities such as Bible Study, Exercise, Games, Senior Trips, Volunteer Opportunities, and Classes. The center provides our guests with a breakfast and lunch program daily and distributes donations of food, hygiene, household items, equipment, books and other items as they become available.
